Service Description

This 30 minute session is ideal for those with specific problem areas and chronic pain. Dry Massage Cupping works by suctioning the surface of the skin into a vacuum cup, and either allowing the cup to rest in position for a few minutes (static cupping), or alternatively moving the suction cup around the muscle with the application of oil or balm (dynamic cupping). In either case, the friction creates a small microtrauma to the outer surface, which increases blood flow to the area, increases oxygen to the region and decreases pain to the region. You may be left with small marks on the surface of the skin which last a few days after treatment. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
