About:
Results Through Genuine Care and Expertise
Musculoskeletal Therapy, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Dry Needling, Remedial Massage and Lymphatic Drainage are treatments that are evidence and outcome based.
Working with the client to assess range of motion, injury, pain or weakness, the treatments begin with an initial consultation to evaluate specific areas of concern. Treatments will vary as they are specific to individuals, however usually involve techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, muscular energy techniques/stretching, mobilizations, traction and compressions. All massage treatments include elements of Swedish and/or Deep Tissue Massage incorporated throughout the session.
Craniosacral Therapy on the other hand, is a biodynamic holistic approach to healing the body. The therapist assesses the body's tensions or trauma, then uses very light touch techniques to help relieve tension and help bring the body back into balance. There is no hard manual adjustment by the therapist. Instead, the client's body is able to reset in a safe environment.
We offer a range of time segments depending on your needs and welcome you to contact us if you have any questions. Feel free to explore the range of videos and learning tools we have in the Knowledge Centre menu above.

What is Remedial Musculoskeletal Therapy?
It can help with
Pain reduction &
pain management
Therapeutic massage is strongly recommended as a pain management option according to Oxford University academic data. (1 & Oxford's many associated evidence-based studies in clinical trials)
Increase range of motion & movement
Massage can have a dramatic increase in range of motion and movement in human bodies using a variety of muscular energy techniques and mobilisations (2 & 3)
Decrease in fatigue
Massage has been proven to show a significant reduction in fatigue in cancer patients post chemo/radiation therapy, as well as in healthy individuals in recovery from exercise. (4 & 5)
Release of nerve compression pain
Pinched nerves and nerve pain may be caused by any number of factors, but frequently is due to tension in the muscles compressing the nerve and creating tingling, numbness, muscle weakness or a sharp shooting pain. In cases where nerve pain is caused by hypertonic muscle entrapment, massage is a excellent way to relieve the tension and reduce pain. (6, 7, & 8)
Increased relaxation
Much research has been conducted showing strong evidence that the central nervous system makes changes to the body as a result of remedial and swedish massage treatments.
Reduce anxiety & depression
Likewise, there is also much documented evidence showing show regular treatments reduce anxiety, depression and stress. More clinical trials are underway proving what we already know - that regular treatments are good for you!
